NEW BRACLET DESIGN FOR 2008!
My name is Donna and I am the mother of twin boys,
Nicholas and Jonathan. Jon was diagnosed with Autism at age 2. We
first learned about Community Autism Resources in spring of 2005
through one of Jon’s teachers. Jon attends the Friday Fun Groups and he really
enjoys the activities and social interaction with his new friends.
I started making jewelry as a hobby about a year
ago. After much of trial and error, I finally
designed an Autism Awareness Bracelet that I felt was attractive and
affordable. I thought it would be a great way to raise money for
Community Autism Resources. The bracelets are $15.00 each and 1/3 of
all proceeds go directly to CAR. The bracelets are made with a
variety of colored, and crystal Czech glass beads as well as a
variety of pewter beads and are very high quality. They also have a
sterling silver puzzle piece charm, the international symbol for
Autism, signifying the mystery and complexity of Autism Spectrum
Disorder.
